    With all this doom & gloom, now's certainly the time to be selling sweaters, jumpers, coats and fleeces.

    I hear that gas bills will soon top £1,000 a year, the era of cheap energy is over, and gas bills will continue to rise by more than 60% over the next few years, according to Centrica.

    Now's the time to get your best woolly jumper out of hibernation, give it a wash and get it ready for the winter...
